Influenster #FrostyBox

Hi everyone! I was lucky enough to receive another winter box from Influenster this year. I created an unboxing video for it. Everything was sent to me for testing purposes at no charge and these are my honest opinions.

Here's the run down:

The Rimmel products - LOVE! I've had one of the eyeliners before so I knew this one was going to be a hit. I have a problem with liners staying in my waterline and this one held most of the day. Better than a lot of high end ones. I will continue to purchase these in the future.

I did a review a few posts back about the makeup remover. I really do like it. My only issue with it is the price. It is $7-$8 a bottle in most stores and I tend to purchase the generic brands for $4 or so. While it was great for removing even glitter from my eyes, the price makes me cringe a little. But the up side is Rimmel has coupons quite a bit and the products do go on sale or allow you to earn points at places like Walgreens quite a bit.

The tea: amazing. I have a separate post about it.

The brush: Oh my gosh how did I survive without this brush??? It is great for drying my hair. It gets the job done and does not tangle in my hair. I also love the squishy bed the bristles sit in. I really am impressed with this brush. I had never tried anything from EcoTools previously and I have to say I am quite impressed.

The Boots 7 serum - eh. One tiny foil packet does not give me enough to know if I like the product or not. Honestly, I don't see that it did anything more than the stuff I already own.

McCormick Thyme: Yes. I love McCormick spices. Always have. I didn't have any thyme in my pantry and this was a wonderful addition to my arsenal. Spices are always fun to play with. It has the quality I come to know and expect from McCormick.

NYC lipstick: I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I haven't used frosted lipsticks in a long time because they tend to make me think of the 80s and all the bad hair/makeup/clothing decisions I made in middle and high school. That being said, this is frosty without making me have flashbacks. The shade is quite lovely to. It feels creamy on the lips and it stays quite a while. I'll have to look at more NYC lipsticks in the future. The price point is nice too because they are typically around $5 at Wallyworld and the selection is ever growing.

Fruit Vines: The bag barely lasted two days. I can't keep them around or I'd eat them constantly. Oh my gosh. They are a really nice treat to have and I suggest picking some up if you like cherry or strawberry fruit vines. They are also little nuggets so you can pop a few and not feel too guilty.

All in all I really liked the items in this box and have found a few things I will continue to love and enjoyed some that I already knew I liked.

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Tea from Influenster

Hi everyone! I received a 2 tea bag sample of the Celestial Seasoning Candy Cane Lane tea from Influenster to test and I am here to give you a review!

I have been a fan of this tea for quite a few years so this was an easy task for me. First off - this is my absolute favourite mint tea. It is creamy and tasty and always makes me feel better when I drink it. In my eyes there is no comparison to it. I usually stock up in the winter months so I can have it whenever I am feeling a little stuffy or sick. I love it with just a tiny bit of sugar in the raw. I don't want to put anything else in it because I don't want it masking the flavour of the tea itself. I highly suggest you try it if you like mint teas because it is divine. Its also decaf so you don't have to worry about it keeping you wired all night!
